Description:
In this season finale Trail Confidence clinic, We’ll work with using non-force, non-dominant techniques to build confidence in horses and their people using agility and obstacles and in the arena. The second half of the day will be a at Howe Park in Massachusetts where we will address real time obstacle negotiation including water, steps, hills and more! This clinic is suitable for all levels of riders and horses and all disciplines. This clinic is especially recommended for fearful and traumatized horses and riders.
*NOTE: You do not have to ride your horse to attend this clinic. All exercises can be done on the ground and you may dismount anytime you feel like you need to. You may pick and choose obstacles to work with.
In this clinic you will learn:
- How to use challenges as connection and trust builders between you and your horse
- How to use your fear and emotions as a tool to take baby steps toward rebuilding your confidence
- How to communicate better and more clearly on the ground and under saddle with your horse
- How to Horse Listen™
- How to take clear steps to overcome your fears
The Clinic will start at 8:30-5pm with a break for lunch. Participation with a horse is $100.00 for the day. Stabling is available for $15.00 per day. Please bring your own feed/hay. Auditors welcome at $25.00 per person or bring a friend discount 2 for $40.00
